[0:00]
hello
[0:01]
humans just doing the dishes here these
[0:04]
are from my RV I just with me I they'd
[0:08]
be easier to do here I will adapt to
[0:11]
that once
[0:12]
I once you know I'll get there
[0:15]
eventually um kind of what I want to
[0:18]
talk about I guess so I just want to
[0:22]
tell you my
[0:23]
plans um so I get my teeth Monday which
[0:27]
means I can leave Kentucky anytime now
[0:29]
that's the only thing that keep me here
[0:31]
um I did make plans for well I guess I
[0:33]
got to deal with the slide situation but
[0:36]
I'll be doing that over the next two
[0:37]
weeks so um and I have you know I'm at
[0:40]
that next Campground for 2 weeks so
[0:42]
that's it that's our last campground in
[0:44]
Kentucky after that I am going to start
[0:47]
heading to um the Great Basin National
[0:50]
Park in
[0:51]
Nevada um I'm going to go like maybe
[0:54]
drive 3 or 4 hours a day um on the way
[0:56]
there so it'll take about a week to get
[0:58]
there I should get there in mid
[1:00]
September well let me
[1:03]
think it'll be late September I don't I
[1:06]
don't want to make rigid plans I really
[1:08]
don't so um it'll be late September I
[1:11]
guess and I'm just going to spend some
[1:14]
time there doing some stargazing you
[1:16]
guys some of you know that that was
[1:17]
always my plan I was calling it The
[1:20]
Pilgrimage I don't feel that way anymore
[1:22]
because I have reach cerence and feel
[1:26]
fully integrated you know so my
[1:28]
perspective has changed sign
[1:30]
significantly originally when I was
[1:31]
going to go there I was going to look up
[1:34]
at the stars and just pray that
[1:36]
something look back at me because um I
[1:39]
felt so existentially alone and
[1:43]
misunderstood and you know all of that
[1:46]
was really just fragmentation in myself
[1:49]
I don't feel that way anymore when I go
[1:52]
to Nevada now to look up at the start
[1:55]
I'm I'm just going there for the
[1:57]
experience just for the awe of it you
[2:00]
know the just the
[2:04]
um that place is um in the United States
[2:07]
considered like the best place for
[2:08]
stargazing is why I wanted to go there
[2:10]
and I just want to I just want to
[2:12]
experience it that's it I'm just going
[2:15]
there to experience it and then I don't
[2:19]
know how long I'll stay there I haven't
[2:20]
really thought that part through um
[2:23]
probably not very long though so I don't
[2:25]
know week or two I just I can't see
[2:28]
myself being there longer than that it's
[2:29]
not really
[2:31]
um where I want to go so after that I'm
[2:33]
going to the Pacific Northwest and I'm
[2:35]
going there for the entire winter
[2:38]
so um I'm going to be on the coast like
[2:41]
Oregon Washington
[2:42]
area and excuse
[2:45]
me and um so I'm totally prepared for
[2:49]
this I I know what to expect I know it's
[2:51]
going to be raining all the time I'm
[2:53]
going to love that sometimes the sun
[2:55]
will come out and it'll be that much
[2:57]
more magical when it does but I'm going
[2:58]
to love the rain I'm going to
[3:00]
love the rain uh it's going to be colder
[3:05]
um the days are going to be like 6070s
[3:08]
the nights again might even get into the
[3:10]
30s but I think it's mostly 40s and you
[3:13]
know I feel like that I'm mostly
[3:15]
prepared for that I'll need to do a
[3:16]
little bit more preparing there's
[3:17]
probably a little bit more insulating I
[3:19]
could do to my RV um I could get some
[3:22]
insulated curtains for my windows
[3:24]
instead of what I have now you know
[3:27]
little things like that but I most what
[3:30]
I have like I already have what I need
[3:31]
I've been preparing for this for 6
[3:33]
months and while I'm there I'm going to
[3:36]
stay at State pars probably um but not
[3:41]
permanently and once I get there I want
[3:43]
to start learning to Boondock that's
[3:45]
important to me even though the sun
[3:47]
won't be out as much I can still use my
[3:49]
solar to an extent and I'll start
[3:52]
adapting I'll start learning to use this
[3:54]
stuff and living on less and just being
[3:57]
self-sufficient cuz that's what this is
[3:59]
about for me um and I plan to stay there
[4:02]
until like I'll be moving around every 2
[4:04]
weeks you know all over the place up
[4:06]
there and then probably around March or
[4:10]
something I'll start thinking about it's
[4:12]
going to depend it's going to depend
[4:13]
what's happening in the world at that
[4:15]
time
[4:16]
because
[4:18]
um after our elections here I don't know
[4:22]
what's going to happen maybe things will
[4:23]
be
[4:24]
fine you know I'm not predicting the
[4:28]
future that's not what I'm doing I am
[4:30]
looking at Trends I know where they're
[4:32]
heading and I know that they're
[4:35]
they're they're they're very unstable
[4:38]
they can't last forever they can't last
[4:39]
for much longer we're talking years so
[4:42]
whether something happens or not during
[4:45]
that time part of my reasoning for going
[4:48]
there is because if something happens
[4:50]
there it's a good place to
[4:52]
be so um you know if something happens
[4:58]
then obviously I started adapting my my
[4:59]
plan big time um if nothing happens
[5:02]
March comes around and you know it looks
[5:05]
like like um we've got time I don't know
[5:08]
what I'll do I'll think on that you know
[5:11]
March is quite a long way from now I'll
[5:14]
tell you some of the things I'd like to
[5:15]
do if we can somehow keep this world
[5:18]
together long enough I would love to see
[5:20]
Canada I would love to travel through
[5:22]
all of Canada maybe go up you know from
[5:25]
from Washington and then start heading
[5:28]
east all the way across Canada and then
[5:30]
coming out over at um the um the Upper
[5:33]
Peninsula Michigan I'm a Michigan native
[5:36]
I I actually really love the nature in
[5:38]
Michigan but I don't want to be there in
[5:40]
the summer
[5:42]
so spring sure that might be all right
[5:45]
um also got to think about the weather
[5:47]
like I haven't thought I'll this through
[5:48]
I'm not going to I'll figure it out when
[5:51]
it's time to figure it out um and I'm
[5:53]
going to do the same with this what I'm
[5:55]
planning now so I've only got a little
[5:57]
bit of time now I got a couple weeks and
[5:59]
and I'm going to plan out my routes and
[6:01]
the places that I'm going to stay I
[6:02]
don't know what they are yet m is being
[6:04]
insane in this place he absolutely loves
[6:07]
having this much space that's one thing
[6:09]
I'm
[6:10]
notic
[6:12]
so kind of sad you know cuz he does live
[6:15]
in an RV with me but he wouldn't want to
[6:18]
be anywhere else that can't wants to be
[6:20]
with me he's just I don't know he's just
[6:23]
having one
[6:25]
while um and we'll keep adapting
[6:28]
together you know I would love to get
[6:30]
him to I know I'm switching gear to him
[6:32]
I don't care um I would love to train
[6:35]
him to be on a leash but I don't think
[6:38]
he's capable so I don't know I'm always
[6:41]
thinking about his comfort
[6:43]
though that's really it I in a
[6:46]
completely different space Within
[6:50]
Myself
[6:51]
comfortable with flux with
[6:54]
uncertainty with the knowledge that I've
[6:56]
been carrying all this time I did what I
[6:59]
said off to do I'm damn proud of myself
[7:03]
and now I'm truly going to go live my
[7:06]
best life I am looking forward to being
[7:08]
in the Pacific Northwest uh I guess
[7:12]
artificial intelligence was telling me
[7:13]
that is a challenging environment and
[7:16]
you know I'm like wait a minute I
[7:17]
thought I had planned to start what do
[7:18]
you mean it's challenging it told me all
[7:20]
the ways it was challenging he said
[7:21]
those are all the reasons I'm going
[7:22]
there like literally none of those are
[7:24]
things I would call challenge those are
[7:25]
things that excite me I am looking
[7:28]
forward to this I cannot not LNG and
[7:30]
it's only two weeks how cool
