[0:01]
hello YouTube I don't know I just had
[0:04]
the impulse to get on camera I guess
[0:07]
give a little bit of an update it's
[0:10]
after 10: I just woke up from a nap so
[0:13]
ha's a bit of a
[0:16]
mess well I did something
[0:20]
today I got some new
[0:23]
piercings oh man I pierced my eyebrow
[0:27]
it's a little bruised oh it's getting
[0:29]
worse
[0:31]
too oh man I'm in a public facing roll
[0:35]
right now too but that's okay I'm just
[0:37]
going to say worth it cuz it is and then
[0:40]
I pierced this one two more times Helix
[0:42]
and a
[0:43]
l looks really
[0:46]
elegant was trying to get a few more I
[0:48]
didn't have enough money to do it but I
[0:49]
was going to get one more in between
[0:51]
these two Hoops stacked they call it and
[0:54]
I was going to finally put Hoops in here
[0:56]
cuz these these feel done they feel
[0:58]
ready it's been six months months so I'm
[1:01]
supposed to I mean it's a little bit
[1:04]
deceptive at 6 months I could put them
[1:06]
in there and then start having problems
[1:07]
it's probably good that I couldn't
[1:10]
do and I was going to pierce my um my
[1:12]
navl I did that when I was way younger I
[1:15]
actually have a little tiny cigar from
[1:17]
that and um so I'll be back to get more
[1:21]
I drove an hour and a half into Eugene
[1:23]
origin
[1:24]
Oregon um to do it went to this little
[1:28]
place it's a brand new new place
[1:31]
somebody who's been in the business for
[1:32]
decades and she was amazing I had really
[1:36]
good experience with her
[1:38]
and I left there gting and giggling and
[1:43]
just so happy that I finally did this so
[1:47]
I'm not the biggest fan of this kind of
[1:50]
um an eyebrow piercing but you got to
[1:52]
give it 6 months and I can turn it into
[1:54]
a hoop so
[2:01]
just still transforming I guess and it
[2:05]
feels
[2:07]
good oh man so it's been almost a month
[2:11]
and it's been it's been one hell of a
[2:14]
month
[2:16]
so got to be careful what I say some
[2:20]
volunteering for the state park
[2:22]
so
[2:24]
um you know I
[2:28]
I one of the reason I'm not really
[2:30]
posting on here anymore I'm navigating a
[2:33]
whole new situation for myself and I
[2:36]
don't know where it's going
[2:38]
and um just not sure what all I really
[2:41]
want to share these days but it's going
[2:44]
well I guess
[2:46]
I'll um I'll give something of an update
[2:49]
I guess
[2:51]
so um definitely be careful there's so
[2:55]
much going
[2:57]
on um I'm going to be here for another
[2:59]
month month so I was my role was working
[3:02]
in the Welcome Center here which was
[3:05]
amazing uh slow this time of year but
[3:08]
amazing I found it very rewarding and I
[3:14]
enjoyed
[3:15]
it I met a lot of
[3:18]
people the guests almost were always
[3:21]
very kind some people flirted with me
[3:25]
and um I didn't usually clock until
[3:29]
afterwards I'm still learning to pick up
[3:31]
on that but it happened quite a few
[3:34]
times and the other volunteers
[3:39]
they're very engaged with me it feels
[3:42]
like
[3:43]
they they come to me just to tell me
[3:46]
about their lives and I listen I witness
[3:48]
them and that's a really nice
[3:54]
experience um some of the Rangers are
[3:58]
amazing and
[4:07]
um some complicated stuff going on here
[4:11]
for
[4:13]
real
[4:16]
and yeah I'm navigating some things just
[4:20]
can't talk about them yet and I'm here
[4:23]
for another month but I'm going to be
[4:24]
cleaning Ys next month so not nearly as
[4:27]
fun
[4:29]
ah but then
[4:32]
um I'll go back to a different Park
[4:36]
where um it's part of the same
[4:38]
management unit as the first one I was
[4:40]
at so I get to see my old boss again and
[4:42]
she's amazing and awesome and I look
[4:43]
forward to that it'll be my birthday
[4:45]
month and uh different experiences there
[4:48]
and then I'll spend two months at Mount
[4:51]
Doom after that May and
[4:53]
June and July and August I have nothing
[4:56]
planned because um I want to stay on the
[4:59]
Coast on the 101 and I just couldn't
[5:01]
find a park on the coast that needed
[5:04]
someone um for the summer cuz that's
[5:06]
when everybody's here it's you know a
[5:09]
lot
[5:10]
harder um so I'm going to take those two
[5:13]
months and I'm going to head to Kentucky
[5:14]
and back I won't be able to stay long
[5:17]
cuz you know it took me three or four
[5:18]
weeks to get here and that was traveling
[5:21]
at a pretty fast
[5:22]
pace but it was such a wonderful
[5:25]
adventure and I would love to do that
[5:26]
again so um going to do it and then I'll
[5:29]
spend only just a couple days in
[5:30]
Kentucky so I can see my
[5:32]
mom uh see Oliver my care good
[5:37]
care and then I'll head straight back
[5:40]
and then September I'll be back at the
[5:42]
place where I started here and then for
[5:45]
the next 3 months after that October
[5:47]
November December I will be right on a
[5:49]
beach hour and a half north of where I
[5:51]
am now so the furthest North I've made
[5:53]
it so far because this is as far north
[5:55]
as
[5:56]
Afghan and I'll be working in their
[5:58]
Welcome Center for 3 months
[6:01]
so um I'm really looking forward to it
[6:04]
have my whole year planned
[6:08]
already um money's tight um
[6:13]
unfortunately I have been doing work
[6:15]
with my old boss who I worked with for
[6:16]
10 years but uh whole Dynamics shifted
[6:21]
different and um making a fraction of
[6:25]
what I was making but it's keeping me
[6:28]
afloat a little bit um behind but um I'm
[6:34]
starting to get out my mind a little bit
[6:36]
and I'll navigating
[6:40]
that
[6:45]
um I'm doing
[6:49]
good see I probably have a lot of the
[6:51]
same challenges I did with my last
[6:53]
update you know my RV is still got the
[6:57]
same issues I still have the same bills
[6:59]
to pay
[7:00]
and
[7:07]
um this is where I am today
