[0:02]
hello
[0:03]
YouTube it's a Saturday night
[0:09]
here it's a part of my appearance I did
[0:12]
not shower today or
[0:15]
yesterday my days off and I have been
[0:17]
very lazy
[0:19]
so I haven't really done anything except
[0:22]
did some cleaning in here today I did my
[0:24]
laundry I cleaned my
[0:26]
tanks um meant to make in the shower
[0:29]
earlier but I was cleaning my tanks just
[0:31]
didn't get around to
[0:33]
it wanted to show off my eyebrow
[0:36]
piercing cuz I did pierce it a second
[0:38]
time and I haven't shared that yet how
[0:42]
cool is
[0:44]
that it is so
[0:47]
awesome every time I look at it oh my
[0:50]
God I absolutely love it like I was
[0:54]
originally going to get it over here but
[0:56]
I was like you know what I really want
[0:58]
that in my vision
[1:00]
let's just put there where I always see
[1:03]
it oh man it is just the coolest thing
[1:06]
to me I I don't even know why I love it
[1:08]
so much I just I just do and then I
[1:11]
pierced this year one more time because
[1:13]
I was like these are so elegant like I
[1:16]
love these little
[1:18]
studs and it just was like you know what
[1:21]
let's go up a little bit higher I almost
[1:23]
thought about get one here too but I bet
[1:26]
you I end up doing that
[1:28]
someday oh and then I did find finally
[1:30]
get the Hoops up here I don't know if
[1:31]
you can see it oh it's kind of hard to
[1:34]
see I have to look at the video
[1:36]
afterwards on that
[1:38]
one
[1:40]
so oh this is the funniest thing so in
[1:45]
my last video I said I was going to
[1:47]
pierce my my Naval something I had done
[1:50]
when I was way younger like 30 years ago
[1:52]
and I thought I had a little scarf from
[1:54]
that it turns out it was still pierced
[1:56]
for 30 years I still have this piercing
[2:00]
and like it wasn't closed up or anything
[2:03]
it was just a naal piercing and the
[2:05]
piercer just put an earring in it like
[2:08]
it
[2:09]
was I mean I I just I how did I not know
[2:13]
that like I just thought it was a scar
[2:15]
or something I just that just blows my
[2:18]
mind like I just don't even like I
[2:21]
didn't even have it that long like when
[2:22]
I first did it I think I only had it for
[2:25]
like a month or so she was saying it had
[2:27]
to be a whole year
[2:30]
but there's no way I don't remember
[2:31]
having a naval piercing for that long
[2:35]
so that was fascinating to me but so I
[2:38]
asked her I was like well cuz like if I
[2:41]
didn't like these eyebrow piercings I
[2:42]
thought I could just take them out I
[2:44]
might have a little tiny scar it won't
[2:45]
be a big deal and that's what she had
[2:48]
told me the first time I was there but
[2:49]
then after discovering I still had that
[2:51]
piercing I was like that happened there
[2:53]
too and she's like yeah that can happen
[2:55]
takes like a year though she that's what
[2:57]
she's
[2:58]
saying I don't know
[3:02]
but I love these piercings
[3:04]
I I never getting rid of they're so cool
[3:08]
and my ey yeah still bruised worse
[3:12]
probably cuz I pierced it the second
[3:15]
time it's been a while too cuz I got the
[3:18]
first one like 11 12 days
[3:21]
ago so I've never had a black guy ever
[3:24]
in my life I have no idea how they long
[3:26]
they last for
[3:28]
so um
[3:31]
yeah I don't really have a lot to talk
[3:33]
about
[3:36]
um you know I just want to say hi I
[3:41]
guess um let's see last update I was
[3:46]
still uh still it was the end of
[3:48]
February so I was still working in the
[3:50]
Welcome Center I
[3:51]
had
[3:53]
um I'm not sure the exact date but
[3:56]
basically on the last day of the month
[3:58]
um the 28th I worked a double that day
[4:01]
and then I stayed an hour past that to
[4:03]
help a woman from
[4:04]
Canada
[4:07]
who
[4:09]
um just needed a campsite and there were
[4:12]
some issues and I just stayed with her I
[4:14]
helped her until I could get her a
[4:15]
campsite that made me feel really good I
[4:18]
felt really good about
[4:21]
that there something
[4:25]
about I saw her the next day and she
[4:28]
thanked me you know and it was
[4:31]
just you feel really good helping people
[4:32]
you know really enjoyed my time in
[4:36]
there um cleaning yards now it's not so
[4:39]
bad
[4:40]
it's it's kind of fun really well I W
[4:43]
want to say fun but
[4:45]
more
[4:48]
um what would be the right word for
[4:53]
that once I clean out a campsite and I
[4:56]
clean out the Y was got a rewarding
[4:59]
feeling to and I don't know what the
[5:00]
right I guess rewarding I mean it just
[5:03]
um which is probably funny considering
[5:05]
my whole life I've been a programmer and
[5:07]
it's like I went from being a
[5:11]
like I mean I had a very good career I I
[5:15]
made a lot of money and I gave it all up
[5:18]
a year ago to move into this
[5:20]
RV and know I'm volunteering for free
[5:24]
cleaning Yurts I mean that is a big
[5:26]
change
[5:28]
right and
[5:30]
I call it rewarding I
[5:33]
just I know that for a lot of people
[5:35]
that's got to be hard to
[5:38]
understand I see the value in the
[5:43]
work still I got to figure out a
[5:45]
solution because you making money that's
[5:48]
important
[5:50]
and you know I left off my savings for
[5:54]
like eight months and you know I've gone
[5:57]
through that and
[6:00]
um where was I going with this give me a
[6:06]
second oh I know I was going with this
[6:10]
so the whole time I was living off my
[6:12]
savings I was trying to think through
[6:14]
what am I going to do because I live in
[6:16]
an NRV and I have to make money I don't
[6:20]
need as much money because you know my
[6:22]
expenses are much
[6:23]
lower but you know I've got some primary
[6:26]
bills that have to be paid I have to pay
[6:27]
for my RV my Jeep their insurance on
[6:29]
those and you know food basic stuff like
[6:35]
that um way different than my old
[6:40]
life but you know I am a nomad now so I
[6:44]
move around and you can't just go get a
[6:47]
job somewhere like go work at a grocery
[6:49]
store or a gas station or
[6:51]
something
[6:54]
um you know cuz a month or two later
[6:56]
you're somewhere else and
[7:01]
just I could never figure that out I'm
[7:03]
still trying to figure that out it's
[7:06]
like it keeps coming back to I have no
[7:08]
choice I have to remain a freelancer
[7:12]
and
[7:18]
um that's where I am I finally got
[7:21]
access to my Guru account again I was
[7:23]
locked out of that for like I don't
[7:26]
remember how it happened oh um
[7:30]
well they fixed it for me I just I had
[7:32]
lost access to it because I couldn't
[7:33]
remember the login details it had been
[7:35]
so long
[7:38]
and now I just I got to do a few more
[7:41]
steps and then I could start looking for
[7:42]
jobs on there so that's what I'm going
[7:44]
to
[7:46]
do so I guess I'm just going to be doing
[7:48]
more programming um oh my last update I
[7:51]
was still working with my ex boss but
[7:53]
we're kind of on pause right now that's
[7:55]
recent that happened
[7:57]
like um
[8:00]
well at the start of the month so there
[8:02]
just so much going on in my head I'm
[8:03]
sorry if this seems a little scattered
[8:04]
I'm kind of processing I
[8:07]
guess um was a little unexpected I was
[8:10]
hoping to keep working with them but
[8:12]
maybe in the future it's more just um
[8:14]
there's there's a there's a reason for
[8:16]
it it's just um we just needed to pause
[8:19]
for a while and hopefully that's
[8:24]
temporary I'm really glad that we worked
[8:26]
things out cuz I mean I worked for this
[8:27]
man for 10 years and and you know I
[8:30]
managed an entire development team I
[8:34]
managed I managed dozens of programmers
[8:37]
and hundreds of them over
[8:39]
years and it was a stressful
[8:44]
job
[8:47]
um largely because I felt
[8:50]
like well I did everything I literally
[8:53]
did everything it was like I was a
[8:54]
oneman show I had to do everything and
[8:57]
that that's a lot to put on somebody's
[8:59]
should ERS and I did it for a very long
[9:02]
time
[9:06]
so yeah that was the start of you know
[9:11]
back when I got started this RV life it
[9:14]
was I needed a break from all of that
[9:17]
and it's been long enough it's time for
[9:19]
me to um reposition myself
[9:24]
and
[9:26]
um you know and always knew I could like
[9:29]
I never worried about it
[9:32]
because my whole life has been this way
[9:40]
where I just know myself I know that
[9:45]
there is no situation
[9:48]
that I can't navigate I've I've been
[9:51]
doing it my whole life I have complete
[9:53]
and total trust in
[9:54]
myself and so I knew no matter how
[10:01]
far um trying to think of the right
[10:03]
words of this this a little
[10:08]
complicated how far I stretched it you
[10:10]
know to the point
[10:12]
of most people will be absolutely
[10:15]
nervous right now or I'm not you know
[10:18]
and um it's because I just know myself I
[10:21]
know that I'll navigate I'll be fine I
[10:23]
complete faith in
[10:25]
myself um some things happened this
[10:28]
month that
[10:31]
reaffirm that for
[10:34]
me
[10:36]
um being careful there
[10:39]
because I've been trying very hard to
[10:41]
deescalate some situations
[10:44]
and I'm
[10:46]
hoping that I finally
[10:51]
have that's all I was ever trying to
[10:55]
do um
[11:00]
I'm doing
[11:01]
good go back to work tomorrow
[11:10]
[Music]
[11:13]
um
[11:16]
yeah
[11:18]
um I don't know what to say at this
[11:21]
point
[11:23]
because I'm just I'm navigating a lot
[11:27]
and I guess you could call a linal space
[11:31]
we've talked about that
[11:32]
before I thrive in them I thrive in
[11:36]
linal spaces and that's where I am right
[11:39]
now between what is and what will be
[11:44]
and you know
[11:56]
there's isn't my eyebrow piercing
[11:58]
awesome
[12:00]
let's just end with that because this
[12:02]
freaking awesome
[12:04]
late I never imagine myself doing
[12:13]
that yeah I hope everybody's
[12:17]
well some of you have been following me
[12:19]
for a
[12:21]
year 650
[12:26]
videos we've been through a lot
[12:32]
um I do see what's happening in the
[12:34]
world oh my
[12:37]
God told
[12:40]
yall
[12:41]
and you
[12:46]
know all we can do is navigate it
[12:49]
that's a core tenant
[12:52]
of what I try to teach on here is
[12:56]
resilience and
[12:59]
facing
[13:01]
reality you know being cleare eyed about
[13:03]
things
[13:04]
and positioning yourself so that you can
[13:11]
navigate
[13:17]
what's just never
[13:20]
never where am I trying to go with
[13:24]
this I mean I've I've said off this
[13:27]
before right so
[13:37]
we're on limo state right now let's be
[13:39]
honest about that like it just is
[13:43]
because there is no way to know
[13:52]
um I hope that everybody's doing
[13:56]
well remember
[14:01]
that you can always choose Joy you know
[14:04]
that's always a choice that you can make
[14:07]
and that's the choice I'm making I'm
[14:10]
going to leave it at that cuz I'm just
[14:12]
rambling I hope you all have a good
[14:14]
weekend
