[0:00]
hello YouTube sorry for the lighting
[0:03]
this is the best I can do it's kind of
[0:06]
dark in my RV I need some better lights
[0:08]
I think and it's a real cloudy day so
[0:11]
the sun's out there but I don't think
[0:13]
you can actually see
[0:14]
it um it's the afternoon I think today
[0:18]
is Thursday I don't actually know let me
[0:20]
find out I think today is Thursday this
[0:22]
is not going down yeah I'm doing it on
[0:24]
camera with you anyways I think it's
[0:27]
Thursday um I haven't news I was let go
[0:31]
from the organ Parks and Recreation
[0:33]
Department volunteer program officially
[0:35]
on letterhead and
[0:37]
everything uh there wasn't really any
[0:40]
concrete reasons given for this
[0:43]
dismissal they basically fell back on
[0:45]
the language of you're a volunteer um
[0:49]
you know they can let you go at any time
[0:50]
for any reason that kind of a
[0:53]
language the one thing that they did say
[0:56]
was I had made public comments which um
[0:59]
there referring to my video where I
[1:01]
walked through the timeline of what
[1:03]
happened to me over the past two
[1:05]
months um but they
[1:08]
didn't give any real justifications
[1:13]
for and they didn't have
[1:16]
any so I'm going to escalate I'm going
[1:20]
to file a complaint with the human
[1:21]
resources department not to get back
[1:23]
into the program
[1:25]
because I gave them every
[1:28]
opportunity to course correct and they
[1:31]
didn't they just kept choosing
[1:33]
containment they kept choosing to
[1:37]
protect things that don't deserve it
[1:40]
because they're
[1:41]
unethical and so I'm going to file a
[1:43]
formal
[1:44]
complaint against all of
[1:48]
them and at some point I will talk more
[1:50]
about this um I'm still processing this
[1:52]
it just happened so I'll need some time
[1:54]
with that and I will have to focus on
[1:57]
some other things you know I um starting
[2:00]
my job back up so that you know that's
[2:03]
positive
[2:04]
news and um just a change in um the way
[2:08]
I live so I won't be uh volunteering so
[2:11]
I'll be moving every two weeks that
[2:14]
gives me more freedom allows me to
[2:16]
explore more of the coast which is you
[2:18]
know I
[2:19]
love um so much
[2:24]
and you know I'm a Survivor and I will
[2:27]
Thrive because
[2:30]
I was thriving before I started
[2:31]
volunteering I'll be thriving after it's
[2:34]
unfortunate because I think that I was a
[2:37]
valuable member of the volunteer
[2:39]
community I think that I brought
[2:42]
something
[2:43]
special something that mattered
[2:45]
something
[2:47]
that they should
[2:50]
have wanted something that they should
[2:54]
want from all of the volunteers I
[2:55]
brought presents I brought Joy I brought
[3:00]
commitment genuine commitment to the
[3:03]
parks to the visitors you know the
[3:06]
guests to
[3:09]
um and these are not things to to reject
[3:14]
and the only reason I was rejected is
[3:15]
because I held their leadership
[3:18]
accountable and I only did that because
[3:21]
they kept forcing me to hold them
[3:23]
accountable
[3:27]
because I really don't know why I don't
[3:29]
know why never let it go I just I I I've
[3:32]
never understood that for me it's it's
[3:34]
not logical I I never understood it
[3:36]
because I operate from a place of logic
[3:39]
so I mean I guess it was emotional I
[3:42]
don't know I truly don't know
[3:44]
so it's unfortunate that a few people
[3:48]
are able to have such a strong impact on
[3:50]
your
[3:52]
life that's where we
[3:54]
are and I accept this cuz I accept
[3:59]
reality always have and I will move
[4:04]
forward so I'll leave it there for now
[4:07]
I'll be in touch
