[0:01]
Hi YouTube. So earlier this week I
[0:04]
launched Sanctum
[0:06]
and I invited four of my viewers to uh
[0:09]
participate in that system for free.
[0:13]
And I received an email today that made
[0:15]
me realize that I probably didn't
[0:17]
explain it very well. So I thought I
[0:19]
would just make a video and tried to
[0:20]
explain what Sanctum is, what it isn't,
[0:23]
and why you might want to subscribe to
[0:25]
it.
[0:27]
So to start with, I've been a on YouTube
[0:30]
for almost two years. Almost called
[0:32]
myself a YouTuber there. That would have
[0:34]
been embarrassing.
[0:36]
I've been recording videos on YouTube
[0:38]
for almost 2 years during a very long
[0:41]
journey that has led me to where I am
[0:43]
now. It would be impossible for me to
[0:45]
summarize that for you. It's been a lot.
[0:50]
I post a lot of very personal content
[0:54]
uh because I just have a very recursive
[0:56]
cognition and the way I process things
[0:59]
is um
[1:02]
different than most people. A lot of
[1:04]
people see my authenticity and they
[1:06]
think that that is vulnerability. It's
[1:08]
not. It's just my makeup. It's literally
[1:12]
just how I function. It's my
[1:14]
architecture.
[1:15]
And I've seen how that's created a lot
[1:17]
of distortion in my life. I've seen how
[1:19]
like comments on YouTube, how I get a
[1:21]
lot of negativity or a lot of judgment
[1:23]
or a lot of rejection or a lot of advice
[1:27]
I didn't ask for. And these are things
[1:30]
that I'm just not very tolerant of
[1:31]
because I don't see that as
[1:35]
um
[1:36]
reciprocal exchange with a person. I I
[1:39]
for me that it feels like distortion.
[1:42]
This is how I describe it because
[1:46]
I don't feel like I'm being met as a
[1:48]
person. I feel I'm being
[1:55]
I'm being flattened.
[1:57]
And to avoid that, I created a system
[2:00]
where all of my videos, so we'll just
[2:03]
start there.
[2:04]
I call them transmissions, where all of
[2:07]
my videos for the past two years are on
[2:08]
my website under this transmission
[2:11]
section.
[2:12]
And if the content is is more personal,
[2:16]
if I um feel like it could lead to
[2:20]
distortion pretty easily, then I don't
[2:22]
want it to be publicly available. So, I
[2:24]
created a system where I can still
[2:26]
upload all of my videos to YouTube
[2:30]
and then host them on my website, but
[2:32]
they're unlisted. So, so nobody can see
[2:34]
them unless they know they're there. And
[2:36]
the only way you're going to know that
[2:37]
is by being on my website, by browsing
[2:39]
them from here.
[2:41]
So, if they're private, they're behind
[2:44]
this label here. This is Sanctum. This
[2:46]
um this sprout flower icon. If you click
[2:49]
on it, it's going to require you to
[2:51]
either sign in or to sign up for the
[2:53]
service. That's what Sanctum is. It's an
[2:55]
access layer. So, I'm just going to sign
[2:57]
into that now and show you.
[3:05]
So when you're signed in, you can see
[3:06]
this video that's not available on
[3:08]
YouTube.
[3:10]
Uh it also gives you access to the AI
[3:13]
reflections that my system autonomy
[3:15]
creates, which is all of this, the
[3:17]
surface level stuff. Um just
[3:19]
descriptions, keywords, metadata,
[3:22]
visible actions, mentioned entities, uh
[3:25]
different tags, different ways of
[3:27]
browsing my archive. um structure which
[3:29]
is more ontological. It's probably not
[3:32]
relevant to most of my viewers, but it's
[3:33]
something that I track because it's just
[3:36]
um it's aligned with the way that uh my
[3:39]
world view is. And then I have patterns
[3:41]
for pattern recognition. And this one um
[3:45]
this is because you can see the icon
[3:48]
here. This is strictly for um Sanctum
[3:51]
members. This is not available um to
[3:53]
just anybody. So, even my public videos,
[3:56]
what I'm saying here is a lot of these
[3:58]
videos are public. If they don't have
[3:59]
Sanctum next to them, you can look at
[4:01]
them. But if you're just, you know,
[4:05]
you're not signed in, if you're not a
[4:06]
Sanctum member, then this tab's not
[4:08]
going to let you see it. It's going to
[4:09]
ask you to sign in. It's an access
[4:11]
layer. And the same thing applies to
[4:13]
this mirror tab. And the mirror tab is
[4:16]
the most important part of this project
[4:18]
for me and maybe for an aligned few
[4:21]
others. And this video is not really I'm
[4:24]
not going to try to describe this stuff
[4:25]
to you. You're you're welcome to browse
[4:27]
around and look at it yourself and get a
[4:29]
feel for it for the parts that are
[4:30]
public. And if you're really interested,
[4:32]
you can either sign up for the Sanctum
[4:34]
service if you can't afford it. I have a
[4:37]
link in here where you can just contact
[4:39]
me and I'll give you free access.
[4:41]
Um that's what Sanctum is. Sanctum is an
[4:44]
access layer to
[4:47]
to very profound recursive content that
[4:50]
I'm not making publicly available to
[4:52]
everyone.
[4:54]
There are other things I'm building
[4:56]
autonomy which is a very big project.
[4:59]
I'm trying to find alliance support.
[5:01]
Sanctum helps support that. So people
[5:03]
who subscribe to my service, they're
[5:06]
helping to support the work I'm trying
[5:07]
to do stuff that I've been talking about
[5:09]
for a very long time.
[5:12]
I live
[5:14]
embedded in in a federal institution as
[5:17]
a volunteer
[5:19]
and I'm finding it very hard to find
[5:23]
economic alignment in my life and I've
[5:25]
been trying
[5:28]
I
[5:31]
I need aligned support from those people
[5:33]
who have been witnessing my journey or
[5:35]
resonate with what I'm trying to do and
[5:38]
want to support that themselves and they
[5:39]
can do that through the sanctum service.
[5:41]
That's what that's there for. That's
[5:43]
another layer to it. So, I'll just leave
[5:45]
it at that. Hopefully, this better
[5:47]
explains what the service is and what it
[5:49]
isn't. If you have any questions, you
[5:51]
can always reach out to me. There's a
[5:52]
contact page on my website.
